Oh My Goodness!! A magnificent set of three huge lush floral oil paintings on canvas overflowing gracefully from the most gorgeous Garden Urns…Each one as lovely as ever coordinating with sumptuous varied colors… each elegant urn along with its decorative pedestal is painted in a realistic beige highlighted gold concrete tone…there are scrolls and oval beading at the pedestal top…each urn and pedestal together measures approximately 33 inches in height on the canvas…the background of each painting is a lovely mix of tans and olive tone green hues..there are so many varying types of flowers with ofcourse huge pink tone roses being my favorite…all draping down the entire pedestal and pooling at the base…the prettiest blue clusters of grapes are arranged at the lower sections of the middle and right side paintings.each painting has a deep blue green Old World draped curtain balance outlined in gold rope cording ending in a gold tassel..all three paintings fit together in forming this gorgeous draping fabric design and the two end paintings have the draped ends.
The frames are wood and appear that the could be oak..they are each painted in a rich green color and there is building on the inner and outer frame edge as well as rosette designed corners highlighted in green, Barbola carved gilded acantus leaves at the outer frame sides, decorative ornamental flaring pattern at the base, and Ofcourse The Best Center Carved GILDED FRENCH CREST with BARBOLA ribbons flowing out onto the frame. OMG!!!!
Each painting framed measures 75″ by 25″ …the frame is a 2″ frame…the end painting frames have an additional 2″ width on the outer sides to accompany the barbola and the bottom decorative piece…the gorgeous gilded CREST extends upwards from the middle frame approximately 3.5″ ….this painting is old..has had 2 or three repairs to the canvas but looks fabulous..the largest repair is on the right side painting (last photo) and it appears as vibrant as ever..there are areas of paint wear to the frame as can be seen in the photos but nothing distracts from the beauty of this screen…I believe it to be early 1900’s because of the elaborateness to the style …it is not signed or dated and could easily be pre 1900…all three paintings have securing hinges with 5 screws at each hinge attachment..I have covered each painting back (after placing thick cardboard over the painting back) with a solid gray green fabric so it looks very neat from behind. The screen that is created with all 3 of these antique paintings stand beautifully secure and wow does it make a statement in any Romantic Enchanted Decor!!!
