SOLD Romantic Vintage Hand Painted Italian Vanity Desk w/ Pink Roses Blue Swirls
The Absolute Sweetest Romantic Vintage Hand Painted Italian Vanity Desk Loaded With Old World Charm. Made in Italy and painted in the most rich but perfectly muted shades of Pink Roses, varying tones of green foliage, and soft varying hues of blue scrolling outlines and decorations everywhere against the vintage French Cream Patina. All of the edges are outlined in a dark Italian shade of gilt or gold as well as 2 gold bands on each leg.
The desk measures 30″ Tall by 31.25″ Wide by 18.5″ Deep. The front middle curves slightly inward to about 2″ There is a large center drawer and 1 small drawer on the sides. All of the drawers have the original
dark bronze color hardware for drawer pulls.
The top piece to the desk measures 29.5″ Wide by 9.75″ Deep. The top piece curves inwards at the center to approximately 5.5″
There is a darling small drawer on each side of the top piece with a curvy ledge above and a decorative top piece. This entire top piece is removeable as it perfectly rests to the back side of the desk.
There is typical shabbiness to this treasured Italian piece such as some paint worn areas but no breaks and the painting is in wonderful vintage condition. The back is as lovely as the front so it looks fabulous in the middle of a room. The back shows a line where I believe that the wood was put together so all is sturdy.
